HISTORY -

  Established in 1986, Lyon Video provides mobile television production facilities, full service video and film production, post-production, and DVD authoring.

 

  Located in Columbus, Ohio, our goal is to provide broadcast quality video at an affordable price, both as a sole provider, or working in partnership with agency, corporate, or independent producers.

 

  Our staff is made up entirely of professional technicians, with decades of experience between them.

LYON-12 TAKES THE STAGE!

LYON-12 has been on the road working since July, and it brings a strong assortment of new technologies in every part of the truck to make your production better than ever!

 

It starts with Grass Valley 8000 elite cameras with the new 3Gig transmission package, including a dual-mode system, offering single mode fiber capability, and fiber quality image transmission over the existing triax backbone in stadiums and venues across the country.

 

The images are then conducted to an Evertz 3Gig routing and processing package.  This system provides 64 embedding destinations and 48 de-embedding sources, each with sixteen channels of audio.

 

Next the images pass to a Grass Valley Kayenne Switcher for top-of-the-line switching capability on the most flexible HD unit available today.

 

The replay room gets  the benefit of new EVS XT2+ servers, offering faster performance and a wider variety of codecs and standards to meet your post and melt needs.

 

And Audio was not forgotten.  Sporting the all-new Calrec Artemis console, LYON-12 is on the cutting edge of Calrec console development.
